This CAPRISTO high-performance header system is designed specifically for the new Porsche 991.2 GT3/GT3RS.
ATTENTION!
The Capristo underbody cover fits the 991.2 GT3RS ONLY. With the 991.2 GT3, the original underbody protection must be adapted to drive the headers.
CAPRISTO exhaust systems are designed and manufactured using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling at our facility in Germany. Each system is machined from high-quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability that are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).
HIGH PERFORMANCE HEADLAMPS:
Headlamps feature a custom design and modified pipe routing compared to stock headers to maximize exhaust flow.
INTEGRATED SPORTS CATS 250 CELL:
High performance sport catalytic converters feature a 250-cell per square inch substrate, made from the highest quality materials currently available, designed to improve vehicle airflow and increase performance.
The cell count of a catalytic substrate refers to the number of holes per square inch and is a direct indication of that substrate's flow capabilities. The lower the hole count, the larger the hole needs to be to fill a square inch; a larger hole subsequently allows more exhaust gas to flow.
All that high flow won't help if the substrate is "squeezed" into a can or tube that's too small in diameter. For this reason, the CAPRISTO Sports Cat is packaged in 5.2-inch packages to maximize exhaust gas flow and valved exhaust system operation.
IMPORTANT
This header system is designed to install directly into existing OEM mounting points
Recommended for off-road and track use only
Replacing the OEM catalytic converter(s) may cause a CEL (Check Engine Light) to occur.
To disable a recurring CEL, you will need to either tune your ECU or use 02 sensor extensions.
