ECU REMAPPING FOR PERFORMANCE

In turbocharged cars, replacing the catalytic converter can change the operating conditions of the turbocharger and cause a deterioration in the torque curve. To ensure the full benefit of the new racing component, the engine control unit must be reprogrammed to maximize performance. If the check engine warning light comes on, the ECU should always be reprogrammed to clear it.
