Exhaust with valve + central pipes and carbon tips CES3 Capristo Porsche 971 Panamera GTS / Turbo/S from 2017

The iconic CAPRISTO valved exhaust system offers the best of both worlds, producing an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves are closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. With the throttle wide open, the valves open, unleashing the full symphony of the engine.

Opening or closing the CAPRISTO valves is controlled by the CES-3 programmable control module, which offers the ability to open and close the valves at the touch of a button.

The programmable control unit provides 3 modes operated via a remote control:

Cruise exhaust valves open at higher rpm

Sport exhaust valves open at lower rpm and hard acceleration

Open exhaust valves remain open

Both Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed for specific backpressure limits to determine when the exhaust valves open. This allows for precise control of the exhaust to suit the driver's personal taste and tolerance.

CAPRISTO exhaust systems are designed and manufactured using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling in our factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sound resonance properties, low weight, and durability that are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).
