Capristo 02BM07403010 T309 Stainless Steel Full Exhaust System for BMW M4 F Series 2014 - 2020

To do justice to this impressive engine in every way, we created a hand-polished 309 stainless steel exhaust system consisting of a pair of 200-cell DPF-eliminating catalytic converters, a non-silenced centre silencer and a rear silencer equipped with pneumatic (vacuum) valves controlled by our control unit.

The final part consists of two pairs of carbon fibre-coated anodized aluminium tailpipes.

Thanks to a reverse engineering design, we are able to create a line optimised in terms of dimensions and exhaust flows. We start with a laser scan of the car's original exhaust line and then create the CAD model. From this model, we obtain the dimensions and dimensions that we need. We then proceed to create our CAD project and the first prototypes.

Thanks to this process, we are able to maintain the original backpressure values while improving acoustic performance and performance.

This exhaust system is equipped with our CES-3 valve control unit, which allows for the management of 3 different operating modes. Our valve opening system is based on the backpressure values read in the exhaust line. Based on this value and the mode selected (via a special remote control), the exhaust line varies its behavior. The modes are:

– CRUISE

This mode is designed for everyday car use. For example, for commuting or for a family trip. The valves open when there is a backpressure of 150 mbar. This means that you are asking the engine for a lot of power and you are stepping on the accelerator.

– SPORT

The operation is similar to Cruise except that the valves open at a value of 80 mbar and this means that they open much more often. This mode was designed for trips with friends, trips to the hills or mountain passes.

– OPEN

As the name suggests, this is the “open” mode that allows the car to express 100% of its sound potential. In this mode, the valves always remain open.

With the valves closed, the sound is the same as the standard car in terms of volume and sonority.
