The cell count of a catalytic converter refers to the number of holes per square inch and is a direct indication of the flow capabilities of that substrate. The lower the hole count, the larger the hole must be to fill a square inch; a larger hole subsequently flows more exhaust gas.
Recommended for off-road and track use only
Replacing the OEM catalytic converter(s) will activate the CEL (Check Engine Light).
Deactivating a recurring CEL will require an ECU tune.
The use of sport catalytic converters, replacement pipes, and manual valve controls (CES-3, EVCU-1) is not permitted on public roads in some states in the U.S. and other countries. Please observe the legal regulations in your respective country/state. Sports exhaust systems not approved for use on public roads are intended exclusively for racing purposes and are designed for use on private racetracks. Use on public roads is at your own risk. Before installing an exhaust system, the buyer must ensure that the system is permitted in their region. Capristo Automotive emphasizes that you should avoid accelerating your car when not in motion! The resulting exhaust flames could cause damage to vehicles and people nearby!
