However, this system also has two exhaust flaps. This reduces the volume by approximately 15 dB(A) when the flaps are closed, and the resulting comfort allows for longer trips without any problems. This system is very popular with "Challenge Stradale" owners and customers who love the typical high-frequency sound of Formula 1 but want some residual comfort.
A remote control system is available as an option, allowing the flaps to be permanently opened or closed on demand. The advantage of this simplified control is its simple installation, which can be completed by the end user in approximately 15 minutes and works according to the "plug and play" principle. No additional electrical connections or hoses are required.
