Compatible with Ferrari F430 headers
Reduced heat or temperature in the engine compartment improves performance. Cooler airboxes result in cooler air temperature for the engine to "breathe." In turn, denser air produces more power.
Because the exterior of the hot, glaring exhaust is protected from the surrounding environment, the shields also reduce the possibility of fires that sometimes result from fluids/oil contact with the exhaust system.
Heat shields can also be attached to the headers without removing them.
