The CAPRISTO high-performance complete system is designed to provide a balanced increase in power, drivability, and sound quality, while also significantly reducing weight. This is achieved while maintaining the CAPRISTO philosophy of "the best of both worlds," which offers the ability to produce an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving. Power gain of ~15-20 HP without tuning.
This feature is achieved by using vacuum-actuated valve flaps that open and close depending on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves are closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. With the throttle wide open, the valves open, releasing the full symphony of the engine.
The exhaust valves are controlled by backpressure and via the included Valve Controller Remote, which allows you to permanently open the flaps without the series control being able to intervene. When the exhaust valve system is closed again using the remote, the series control unit will regain control of the exhaust valves. This allows for precise control of the exhaust based on personal taste and driver tolerance.
CAPRISTO exhaust systems are designed and manufactured using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling in our factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sound resonance properties, low weight, and durability that are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).
Cat Eliminate Test Pipes:
These lightweight test pipes fit in place of heavy OEM catalytic converters. Using test pipes removes the flow restriction that a catalytic converter places on an exhaust system, while also increasing power. The muffling effect of the converters is also eliminated, enhancing the aggressive engine sound. Test pipes are ideal for track days and racing applications.
Oxygen or lambda sensor plugs are pre-installed and threaded.
Made from T309 (1.4828) stainless steel.

Removing the OEM catalytic converters may activate a Check Engine Light (CEL).
To disable a recurring CEL, ECU tuning will be required.
