The opening or closing of the CAPRISTO valves is controlled by the engine ECU, so they work the same way the original exhaust was designed to work. The OEM vacuum hoses plug directly into the CAPRISTO valve system.

Alternatively, the Capristo exhaust remote control kit for the exhaust valves can be fitted, which would provide the ability to open and close the valves at the touch of a button. In the closed condition, control is returned to the engine ECU.

CAPRISTO exhaust systems are designed and manufactured using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling in our factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its resonant properties, low weight, and durability, which are close to those of Inconel (used in F1).

The exhaust system is designed to be installed directly into existing OEM mounting points.
