The complete CAPRISTO high-performance system is intended to be a balanced increase in power, drivability and sound quality, while of course not forgetting a substantial weight loss. All this is delivered while maintaining the CAPRISTO philosophy, the best of both worlds, which offers the ability to produce an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving.

This feature is possible using vacuum-actuated valve flaps that open and close depending on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves are closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. With the throttle wide open, the valves open, releasing the full symphony of the engine.

The exhaust valves are controlled by back pressure and via the included Valve Controller Remote, which allows the flaps to be permanently opened without the series control being able to intervene. When the exhaust valve system is closed again using the remote control, the series control unit will once again take over control of the exhaust valves. This allows for precise control of the exhaust based on the driver's personal taste and tolerance.

CAPRISTO exhaust systems are designed and manufactured using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling in our factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sound resonance properties, low weight, and durability, which are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).
