The 2010-2011 limited edition Ferrari 599 SA Aperta, with its 6.0L; 670 V12 engine, is certainly a unique car; one of the most complete and track-ready cars ever built in Maranello.

However, it is not perfect.

Although the Factory claims to be fitted with a genuine Race exhaust, the opposite is true when it comes to the headers.

The stock 6 into 1 tubular header system is severely compromised by the restrictive design of the integrated catalytic converters.

The Supersprint long-tube Competition headers and exhaust system are the perfect solution to this, proving to be a great performance complement.

Their free-flow design provides a significant decrease in exhaust back pressure, completely eliminating the restriction posed by the primary/main catalytic converters, which are nestled in the tight confines of the engine bay in order to comply with Euro and US emissions standards.

Our header system, with its twin 3 into 1 sections and long-tube and twin downpipe design, mirrors the look of each bank, allows for a radically new repositioning of the R&L catalytic converters, effectively moving them further away from the engine, to their ideal and natural position under the car's chassis.

This results in a significant performance gain, while also ensuring radically reduced heat absorption and thermal stress.

The Supersprint centre exhaust section and lightweight R&L rear silencers complete the package, ensuring a monumental V12 soundtrack.

With the full Supersprint exhaust installed, the 599 SA Aperta becomes a contender to Ferrari's 730bhp 599xx.
